Admissions: MFS is totally full for the 2023-24 school year except for two spots in Pre-K (age 3). For future years (other than pre-K) we will only have openings if a current student does not continue. Even then, the opening will be at the specific grade level of that departing student. We have a substantial waiting list. Other than 2-3 study abroad students in grades 9-12 who would attend our school for a full semester, we do not allow student stays of less than one academic year. Resumes/Job Inquiries: Our Employment page lists any open positions, and you can send your CV to jobs@mfschool.org to be kept on file for future openings.

Visits: We are willing to give tours of our campus and chat with you about our school. Please contact us below and give us some idea of your purpose in visiting. If you are visiting because you might want your child/children to attend, we will discuss with you by email whether there is any possibility of admitting your student in the future and whether it makes sense to visit. 

Volunteers: Given the thousands of visitors to Monteverde, we get more offers to volunteer than we can accept. There is more information on our Volunteer page, but mainly we look for the ability to help us for as long as a term or a semester and specific skills and experience that fit our school’s needs. We look for teaching and classroom experience for those who would assist in the classroom. If that fits you, we’d love to hear from you!
