Giving Tuesday

On this international day of choosing to invest in community over consumerism, thank you for thinking of Monteverde Friends School. Here in Costa Rica it is also a special day celebrating the Abolition of the Army – one of the key reasons that the Peace-full Quakers chose to start a new life and school here 65 years ago.

Every dollar donated today for Giving Tuesday will (unless you make a different designation) go directly to our Scholarship Fund, providing financial assistance for local students in need. We remain committed to serving the local community desiring quality bilingual education based on Quaker values, regardless of their ability to pay. Thank you for helping us keep that promise.
