The MFS academic year runs from August through the end of May.
We observe Costa Rican holidays, including:
- Costa Rican Mothers’ Day — August 15
- Costa Rican Independence Day — September 15
- Mid October break – One week
- Abolition of the Army Day — December 1
- Semana Santa – Monday-Friday prior to Easter
- Juan Santamaría Day — April 11
